5 Great Save it Now Read it Later Tools

How many times have you happened upon great articles on the web but not had time to read them? Next time you stumble upon a great article simply click on the Read Later button and the webpage is instantly saved to your InstaPaper account for you to peruse at your leisure by logging into the site when you have time.

LaterThis with its catchy name does just what it says by putting the webpages you choose on a site for you to look at later. You can even tag and star the favorite saved sites in your list. Nothing to install and your LaterThis sites are also accessible via iPhone and Droid smartphones.

toread is a unique and simple tool that adds a bookmarklet to your browser that upon clicking sends a cached version of the link to your email. You can also send a text only version to a smart phone.

ReadBag works with Google and allows you to save webpages for later viewing via a bookmarklet and read them later on the ReadBag site, mobile phone browser, email, or feed reader. It also lets you view what others are reading and sharing, making it a great tool for generating things you might want to write or blog about.

Taboo is a FireFox addon that takes screenshots of webpages that you save. When you view your full list of saved sites, the screenshots are displayed in a grid format.

    I’d also add that Safari on iOS and the Mac has a “Reading List” feature that syncs through iCloud. You can also use Evernote for this purpose.
